Terminator Salvation

I was bummed. He made a film that will appeal to a few and piss off a bunch. Look forward to seeing the Director's Cut Blu Ray. There were so many plot holes and dumb mistakes that I am hoping it all gets filled in on a 3 hour cut.

What an awesome show...haven't been able to get much else done.

Ben X...My Name Is Lisa - tonight's watch

Wonderfully modern film; the best mix of video game and film since Chumscrubber. The short film My Name Is Lisa that (shorts accompany each of these Film Movement titles) was outstanding, best I had seen in years.

Slew of $5 titles today

Pulled 80 or so titles out of the inventory aisle just now...some great finds including newer ones like Hancock and Last Chance Harvey, some catalogs like Spiderman 2, Butch Cassidy, Assassination of Richard Nixon, Hide & Seek and tons of others...going fast.

A real film with all the right ingredients...nothing like watching/listening to this soundtrack and visuals on Blu - what it is all about.

Wendy and Lucy...tonight's watch

What a boring mess. I have noticed all the "intellectual" critics spout paragraphs of societal analysis into how deep and amazing this is - it is just plain crap. The whole movie is for dog fanatics, plain and simple. And even then - the ending is a cop out...what a waste of time.

Wow...just spent more time reading the reviews - definitely hurts to not like this film, anyone who does gets ostracized. Scary stuff..

Dog Soldiers Blu - Skipper

Most of my customers know I am a fan of this film (and especially McKidd - great actor who got his justified exposure with the Rome series)...but this BD release was a train wreck.

In all fairness, I did get an nice email from the producer of the film after I reviewed it on Amazon (not positively), and hopefully someday this fun piece will get a good Blu release.

I seem to be in the minority here but I still have this this as one of those ones to watch. Luke Wilson has my respect...whether it is Idiocracy, Old School or this...scary I find time to watch a movie more than once in the home theater these days...
